Once you have identified the right muscles, you can perform the exercise while sitting and standing.

Cat and Camel Exercise 

To perform this exercise, get down on your hands and your knees, keep your knees apart according to the space of your hips and your hands directly below your shoulders. Tighten your abdominal muscles and arch your spine upwards towards the ceiling. Hold the position for 10 seconds, then slowly relax your back. Next, allow the stomach to fall downwards to the floor and bring your hands together and stretch your back downwards in a swayback position. Hold the position for 10 seconds and repeat this sequence at least three times or more. 

Butterfly exercise (Bhadrasana)

To perform this exercise, sit straight with an erect spine and spread the legs straight out. Now flex both the knees and bring them near to the pelvic region; the soles of the feet should be touching each other. To obtain this posture, use your hands to pull the feet as close to your groin area. Next, take a deep breath and press the thighs and knees towards to floor. Keep gently pushing the knees downwards. After this posture is attained, start flapping the bended knees up and down like a butterfly's wings. You will sense a stretch in the inner thighs and the groin area. Take a deep breath and bring the torso up. As you exhale gently, release the posture, straighten the legs, and relax.

Lower water levels in the body can cause dry skin, Oily skin, fungal infections, and acne. In order to keep our skin hydrated, using topical applications is not enough. Also, you need to treat your skin internally.

2). She Never Steps Out Without SPF 
Dr. Megha wears sunscreen like her life depends on it. She doesn’t step out without applying a generous layer of sunscreen (with a good amount of SPF) on her face & body. She also wears a layer of sunscreen at home to shield her skin from harmful sun rays that might penetrate via the glass windows.
An excellent quality sunscreen protects your skin from both UVA & UVB rays, and it is essential to keep the harsh UV sun rays at bay & protect your skin from prematurely aging. 

3). She Uses a Mild Face Wash

Ayurvedic Varicocele Treatment

Varicocele is like having vascular veins in scrotum or the testes. Vascular veins is a condition where the blood carrying tubes inside a particular body part swell up and stick tight to the inner skin. It is commonly seen in legs but similar condition can be observed in the scrotum (lies inside the testes). The scrotum is the shielding sac around your testes and is responsible for maintaining its shape. 

Having this condition in your scrotum may feel like a bag of worms as the size of your testes gets enlarged. This affects a type of vein termed as pampiniform plexus, which is situated in the spermatic cord. This chord holds vas deferens, the tube that carries sperm, and the testicular artery, which transports blood to the testicles. 

It is a common condition as approximately 15 – 20% of men experience this at least once in their lifetime. In most cases, varicocele is painless and might feel negligible to notice but can sometimes cause an aching sensation around your testes. For some severe cases, varicocele can cause fertility issues and might reduce sperm quality in the long run. Varicocele can happen at almost any age but is most common in teens for the hormonal imbalance in blood flow during puberty. Varicocele typically affects only one side of the testicles, and usually, it’s the left side.

Signs/ symptoms of having varicocele

Ayurveda Vitiligo Treatment

Vitiligo is a rare skin disorder that causes the skin to lose its color and form smooth white patches in different parts of the body. It is also termed as Leucodermia, which means ‘to have white skin’. It is an autoimmune condition, wherein, the immune cells of our body attack the functioning of healthy organs. In this case, the melanocytes or the skin cells that produce melanin, responsible for providing skin color and texture, are destroyed by the body’s immune system. Also, if the spot is less than 5mm it will be termed as macules and patches for the spot greater than that.

Vitiligo is not so rare but rare to be found as approximately 2% of the total population and an estimated 2 to 5 million suffer from it. Vitiligo is expected to start showing its effects from an early age of 10 and in most cases fully developed until the age of 40. There is no evident proof that vitiligo follows a genetic transmission but nearly around 30% of the affected patients have a family member with this disease. 

Vitiligo progresses with a few small patches that may spread over large body parts within the course of few months. It usually begins on hands, forearms, feet, and face but has the capacity to spread to any part of the body, including the inner ear and genitals. In severe types, the patch spreads to a larger area and is able to grow every year. However, in most cases, the same patch developed at an early age remains stuck for a lifetime. Luckily, it is not a transmissible disease and hence, you cannot catch it from someone else.

Causes of Vitiligo

Vitiligo is primarily caused with the presence of autoimmune condition which depletes the melanin present in skin cells of some body parts. However, factors like genetic transmission and other specific health disorders were observed to some extent as well. Let’s explore them hereby:

  • Autoimmunity – As discussed in the above paragraph, vitiligo is considered to be an autoimmune condition. This condition can be the root cause for the general type of vitiligo, which is the most commonly seen. This causes the immunity of our body to attack the melanocyte skin cells which result reduces the amount of melanin to form smooth white patches. 
  • Genetic Factor – Although there isn’t any evidence that proves that vitiligo can pass from someone’s heir, it is studied that somewhere 30% of the individuals affected have one or more family members suffering from this disease.
  • Neurogenic Aspect – A substance or an enzyme that is toxic to melanocytes may be released from the nerve endings in the skin.

  • Daruna – The patches will be in red color if this condition  vitiates the rakhta dhatu (blood)
  • Aruna – The patches turn coppery in texture if this condition vitiates the muscle tissues of the affected body part
  • Kilasa – This is the most common type of vitilgo in Ayurveda. It entails that the patches will turn smooth white if this condition vitiates the fat tissue of the affected body part.
